We typically receive most mail within 2-5 business days, but the postal service can be unpredictable. Mail can take up to two weeks to arrive. 

 

We do not have a physical office and work remotely from northern New Jersey area. We do not offer pick up or hand delivery of prints.

What happens if I need my prints faster?

We offer the option for UPS or FedEx shipping for an additional cost. Alternatively, you can provide a shipping slip to our email GJALLC@gmail.com.  All requests for overnight/expedited prints must be made by 2pm via email in order to allow time for processing and printing.

How do I know what type of survey work I need?

If you are unsure of the type of work needed, you can always ask us! 

 

We can review the type of work you are having done on the property, or what you are using the survey for, and guide you accordingly.  We also are available to speak to other professionals (eg. engineers, architects, planners) to discuss what information they need from the survey work being completed.  

 

We always suggest to homeowners that once you contact a land surveyor, prior to signing a contract, that you confirm with your township and other professionals involved, that the work being ordered will meet all requirements needed. This is to avoid time delays and additional cost for work added on after the survey has been completed.

What do you require to survey my property?

For private surveys, we require a signed contract, copy of the property deed (or title commitment) and a deposit to schedule your survey. The contract is provided via email or mail once the billing name and address are provided to our office.

 

If you are purchasing a home, your lawyer or title company may order from us directly.  A "Stake waiver" form will be sent to your lawyer/title company to be reviewed and signed by you. This is a mandatory requirement per N.J.A.C. 13:40-5.1. 

What payment types do you accept?

Deposits and payments can be made by personal/buiness check, money order, credit/debit card or online via ACH transfers. There is no fee to mail a check or money order. We do charge a processing fee on all credit/debit  and ACH transactions.

 

Selection of payment method will be on your contract. A payment link can be made available to anyone selecting to pay via credit/debit card or ACH. We will not accept payment methods over the phone.

How long does it take?

Times can vary greatly depending on what type of survey you need. Seasonal fluctuations, inclement weather and other factors can affect the timing.  We can provide a time estimate at the time of ordering so that you may plan accordingly.

 

While we try our best to accomodate everyones deadlines, ordering in advance is the best way to ensure you have what you need.
