What started off as a part-time job in George's 20s led to a career in surveying spanning 50 years. Following years of training with several Professional Land Surveyors, he obtained his New Jersey Professional Land Surveyor license in 1992. After taking over a smaller, family owned company, George decided to hang his own hat and opened George J. Anderson, LLC in 1999.
George proudly served on the City of Newark Fire Department. He retired in 2004 as Rescue Captain after 30 years of service.
In his spare time, George enjoys traveling with his wife, Lynn. Together they spend time down the shore, in Florida and spending time with family. Occasionally, his family even lets him win at mini golf.
Lauri has been planning her career in surveying since preschool (you had to be there...). She has now been in the surveying industry "officially" for 25 years. She continues to tell people she is in surveying to chase bubbles and pet any animal she sees at work.
After graduating New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2005, she took several years learning from Professional Land Surveyors to prepare for her licensing exam. She obtained her New Jersey Professional Land Surveyor license in 2013.
In her spare time, Lauri spends time with her son, dog, cats, family and friends. She enjoys music, reading, spending time outside and working out.
Emily's love of the outdoors, technology, and sick obsession with math led her to a career in surveying.
Emily is currently attending New Jersey Insitute of Technology for Surveying Engineering Technology. After graduation Emily hopes to sit for her Professional Land Surveyor license and complete her Wetland Delineation qualifications.
In her spare time Emily enjoys hiking, camping, spending time with her husband J. Francis, her children, dogs and cats. She also loves to start art projects that include lots of glitter.
